American actor and comedian Kevin Hart has announced the launch of HartBeat Independent, under the banner of production company HartBeat Productions, which he founded in 2009.

The new division will focus on alternative and unscripted content including films, sketches, documentaries and game shows, and The True Story star announced the launch on Instagram, posting 'It's all about the "WE" at HartBeat productions… it's not about ME… Let’s build and let’s goooooooo #HartBeat'.
